I left Boris at home all day, while I worked a seven-hour shift, so I promised him a long river-walk upon my return home...
(walking down main st.) (one of 500 uneaten hot dogs)
(homeless person hotel)
(our dock on the river)
(hot dogs?)
(blood)
Boris and I had a great walk down to the river. Waterfront is a great area, and Boris loves a good romp through the wooded areas. Plus, there's always some interesting shit going on downtown...
I moved to Winnipeg's Exchange District at the beginning of June 2009, and for the next year, until May 2010 - when my lease expires - I plan to write about my life here at the Bate.
The purpose of this blog is simple: I'd like to share my experiences of living in the heart of Winnipeg. The Exchange is tiny, but it's packed with festivals, nightclubs, restaurants, clothing stores, and eclectic people.
We'll see how everything works out over the next year.
